Our Process

Throughout our process, we learn how you live and the challenges you have with your current space. We support you in making informed decisions by taking cues from your environment and listening to your goals to discover your unique taste and preferred aesthetics.

How We Work

  • Listening to your vision and scope, or help you to uncover it. A questionnaire is offered to help articulate your design intention. We provide a detailed proposal and timeline to commence your project.

  • Space analysis including lighting, acoustics, potential challenges, and partition removal if necessary. Feasibility study and budgeting. Site measure and create CAD floor plans if none have been provided.

  • A synthesis of your needs and wants alongside the concept. Developing the design direction with visual interpretations of your style via images, sketches, elevations and finishes. We work collaboratively on details and code requirements with other trades and professionals.

  • CAD drafted construction drawings including; demolition plans, partition plans, floor plans, furniture layouts, plumbing and electrical, reflected ceiling plans, millwork drawings and elevations. Specifications are created for every element of the design, which are then first sent out for pricing. Revisions and cost engineering are updated to the drawings which are then ultimately used to build your project.

  • Sourcing of all pieces to furnish the space including art and accessories. Organizing and placing orders while managing any potential issues.

  • Working with professional communication alongside builders and trades to ensure the outcome is as designed and brought to completion.

  • Full installation of all furniture, art, and accessories for you to effortlessly dwell in.

From here we will discuss the timeline, budget and any potential concerns or issues to confirm the scope of work. The scope of work allows us to create a fee proposal specific to your project. The proposal is presented to you where we review the design stages, budget and timeline.
